One analytics cookie. Nothing that follows you.
This site keeps a few small settings in your browser and, if you allow it, uses Google Analytics. There are no advertising, social-media or cross-site tracking cookies.
Effective: October 24, 2026You can change your choice at any time, here or with Cookie settings at the bottom of every page.
Change my cookie settings1. What is stored in your browser
| Name | Type | Purpose | Lifetime | Category |
|---|---|---|---|---|
tally-consent | Local storage (first party) | Remembers your cookie choice | 12 months | Essential |
tally-track | Local storage (first party) | Remembers the order number and email you entered on Track your order, so you don't type them again | Until you clear it | Essential |
tally-last-order | Local storage (first party) | After you pay, lets the tracking page fill in your order number | Until you clear it | Essential |
tally-ga-* | Local storage (first party) | After you pay, makes sure a purchase is counted only once in analytics | Until you clear it | Analytics |
_ga | Cookie (first party, set by Google Analytics) | Tells visits apart with a random identifier | 2 years | Analytics |
_ga_3N9R7XLYHD | Cookie (first party, set by Google Analytics) | Keeps the state of your visit to this site | 2 years | Analytics |
Essential storage can't be switched off, because the site can't remember your choices without it. Analytics cookies are set only when analytics is allowed, and choosing Reject deletes any _ga cookies already on this domain. Our workshop page also keeps its sign-in in session storage, which closes with the tab; customers never see that page.
2. Your choice, by region
EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland: analytics is off until you press Accept.
Everywhere else, including Japan and the United States: analytics is on unless you press Reject, choose otherwise, or your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, which we treat as Reject.
We use Google Consent Mode. When analytics is refused, Google receives only cookieless signals without identifiers, which it uses to estimate overall visit counts. Advertising storage, ad user data and ad personalisation are always denied, and Google signals are switched off.
3. 外部送信規律に基づく公表 · Information sent to other companies
Disclosure under Article 27-12 of Japan's Telecommunications Business Act (電気通信事業法).
| Recipient | Information sent | Purpose | Opt out |
|---|---|---|---|
| Google LLC: Google Analytics 4 | Page address and title, the page that referred you, browser, operating system, screen size, language, approximate location derived from your IP address, the _ga identifier, time of visit, and events such as starting checkout or signing up for the newsletter | Measuring and improving this website | Cookie settings · Google Analytics opt-out add-on · Google privacy policy |

When you check out, you go to Stripe's secure payment page (checkout.stripe.com), which uses its own cookies under Stripe's privacy policy. Links to Instagram, Japan Post and other sites take you to those sites, which set their own cookies under their own policies.
4. In the TALLY app and on TALLY
The TALLY app for Mac and the TALLY device don't use cookies or advertising identifiers for us. When you sign in to Claude or ChatGPT inside the app, those sites set their own sign-in cookies, kept only on your Mac; see our Privacy policy.
5. Changes and contact
We post changes here with a new effective date, and ask for your choice again when something important changes. Questions: hello@tallymeter.io.
